Muranyi & Piccioni - Spider EP

Spider is born from the collaboration of Jazz pianist George Muranyi and composer-producer Jason Piccioni, inspired by their love for modal changes and the colours projected by the fusion of synthetic and organic instrumentation. This particular music puts us at ease by somehow bridging the period between a more classic 'blue note' sound and some of the more subtle analogue electronic jazz of the 70s. Spider Fly features Cecilia Stalin, Francesco Mendolia on drums and Luca Faraone on bass, and there are also guest vocal appearances by Jess Hayes and Vilija Letanaite.
